Survey on the use of free software in audiovisual production
Between 26% and 43% of audiovisual production is the result of free software! Users celebrate the emancipation that free and open source licences bring them, and mainly use proprietary apps only out of constraint. While 14.6% of users are totally satisfied with their use of free software, only 1.75% are satisfied with their use of proprietary software. Here are the detailed results of our survey on the use of free software in audiovisual production, in the broadest sense.

Entre 26% et 43% de la production audiovisuelle est le fruit de logiciels libres ! Les utilisateurs et utilisatrices plรฉbiscitent l’รฉmancipation que leur apportent les licences libres et open source, et n’utilisent principalement les applications privatives que par contrainte. Alors que 14,6% des utilisateurs et utilisatrices se dรฉclarent totalement satisfait de leur usage du libre, c’est le cas de seulement 1,75% pour les logiciels privatifs.
