Motion designer and teacher
I’m a motion designer which is the fancy word for the people animating graphics, in 2D or 3D. Initially I wanted to be a film director, but I grew tired very fast of all the constraints, and switched to editing. From there, I switch again to animated graphic design to gain more freedom.
After a few years as a freelance, working for broadcast and ad agency, I gradually moved to teaching because I like to explain things and talk a lot.
I started working with Maxon in 2020, for whom I translate the software, beta test, and do some instructionnal videos. At the same time I picked up Blender, because I do no like to put all my eggs in the same basket, and like Duduf, because I believe in open-source software.
Now I mainly teach in schools (Institut Nationale de l’Audiovisuelle mainly) and training centre (Video Design mainly). I record a lot of tutorials for fr.tuto.com and Udemy.
The MoTools is my first Geometry Nodes library, and tries to emulate the workflow found in Cinema 4D with Mograph. I aim to develop these tools as much as possible and keep them free of charge, for the community.
